MonSters

I have a tingly feeling,
Like a tickle in my nose,
Pins & needles whizzing through
My legs down to my toes.

My legs feel kind of funny,
All fuzzy, numb and tight,
They sometimes do an Irish Jig
And kick out in the night.

I think there must be monsters
Living deep inside my brain,
Causing all this havoc,
They really are a pain!

They trip me when I try to walk,
They play games with my vision,
They make the simplest things I do,
Seem like such a mission.

They think it’s fun to dance around,
And make me feel quite dizzy,
They make me yawn and sleep a lot,
Especially when I’m busy.

But I love those little monsters,
They’ve helped me out a lot.
They make me see the good in things,
And cherish all I’ve got.
